Who can present wine?
- wine producers and winemakers
- groups of co-operative wineries
- importers
- wine merchants
What wines can compete?
The competition is open to all wines that are certified organic, biodynamic, in conversion or ‘méthode nature’, from anywhere in the world and whether or not they have a protected geographical denomination.
What must the wine analysis report contain?
An analysis report per wine (level of alcohol, glucose + fructose sugars, total and volatile acidity, so2, excess pressure from carbon dioxide for sparkling).
Which wines are allowed to compete?
All vintages are allowed in the competition.
How many products can be presented?
You are not limited in the number of products you can present. Wine merchants must have a mandate for the presentation of wines they do not own.
What should be written on the package for customs?
Each delivery must be sent with a detailed commercial invoice that includes the following information:
- General information: company name and address
- Recipient details: 331 Chemin de la croix de fer - 69400 LIMAS - FRANCE (recipient's name and address)
- Recipient's EORI number: FR 342 055 837 000 62 VAT number
- Recipient's intra-community VAT number: FR61342055837
- Incoterm: DDP
- For each product:
- Product name
- Number of product(s)
- Unit weight and total weight
- Unit value: customs value is 0.50 EUR
- For wines, beers and spirits: capacity (example: 0.75L)
- For wines, beers and spirits: alcohol content
- Total value: make sure the total value of the shipment is less than 20.00 EUR (€20)
- Mention “Samples for tasting - No commercial value”.
- Country of origin
Without this information, your product cannot be imported.
Enclose this commercial invoice signed by a representative of the producer ON and IN the box.
Some courriers, such as DHL or FedEx, add extra handling charges when the parcel arrives in France. Ask your courrier for details.
How many samples need to be sent?
Wines: 3 labelled bottles per wine must be sent to the address indicated on the form. The wines must have a label and a cap.
Delivery time and address
When you register your products, you will receive an e-mail from us with a dispatch note containing all the important information about the delivery time and address.
Terms of delivery - Delivery from Non-EU countries
DDP Delivered Duty Paid (free delivery incl. customs clearance, duties and taxes).

What are the categories?
Can a beer be presented in more than one category?
Yes. A beer can be presented in more than one category, with more than one style.
How many samples need to be sent?
Beers: 3 labelled bottles, per product presented
There are no requirements for packaging type or capacity. You may send a bottle, can or any other type of packaging, with a capacity of at least 25cl.
